CONSUMER
CAUCUSES
As needed, the Coalition holds consumer caucuses around the state based upon local, state and national issues of importance. At the regional caucuses consumers are briefed on a topic and then have the opportunity to speak their opinions about that particular issue or issues. If a political action is to be taken, the votes (voices) of the consumers are carried to legislators to be considered in the decision making process.
The caucus format is the most effective way to have the voice of the consumers reach the state lawmakers.
There are currently
no caucuses scheduled for this year, but they will be scheduled on an ad
hoc basis when needed.
