The first day of autumn has arrived, and I find myself gazing at the lovely photo from the July retreat that is hanging on the bulletin board here in my office. The photo and my fond memories from my retreat kept me going these past several weeks as I worked on our grant application to the Vermont Department of Health. We’ve asked for funding for the retreat, our two staff positions, and a couple of new programs. We’ll find out October 19 how much funding we will get for 2017. Keep your fingers crossed! Thank you all for making me feel welcome at the retreat. I found the community to be one of the most loving and accepting that I’ve ever been a part of, and I enjoyed all the conversations that I had with so many of you. I think of you often, and I’m sending good thoughts to each of you for your good health and well-being.
Happy Fall to all of you! Amy Tatko Executive Director
